CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, Illinois—June 14, 2004—Fidelity Media, Inc. released a new update to their MegaSeg radio automation and mobile DJ software. Version 2.7.3 adds the ability to read ID3 volume tags for imported MP3 files, improves the search speed of large libraries, fixes a Unicode text encoding bug that caused some saved playlists to display random characters when opened, and fixes a bug that caused the wrong song info to display when using the “replace with same category” artist separation rule, among other improvements.
MegaSeg is available from Fidelity Media at megaseg.com for $199. The MegaSeg 2.7.3 update is free for users of version 2.5 and newer. A full demo version is also available.
MegaSeg supports all Apple systems running Mac OS X or OS 9 and a 400 MHz or faster processor.
Fidelity Media Inc. was founded in 1998 with the vision of simplifying music library management and mixing for mobile DJs, radio stations, and other music related industries.
